Set up, step by step

The most important paths in ALTIKO, each in four steps – with a button that takes you straight to the right place in the dashboard.

Getting started

From a new account to a bot answering in your chat in five minutes.

Sign in
Sign in on altiko.de with Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Discord. You don’t need a separate password.
Connect more platforms
Under Connections add every platform you stream on. Alerts, commands and stats then run everywhere at once.
Work through the setup guide
The Overview shows what’s still missing – for example mod rights for the bot. Every item takes you straight to the right place.
Try it
Type !hallo in your chat. If the bot answers, everything is connected.

Follows, subs, bits and raids as on-stream alerts.

Open the overlay
In the dashboard under Overlays your alert overlay is already waiting.
Add it to OBS
Click Add to OBS. With OBS connected the source lands straight in your scene – otherwise copy the link and create a Browser source at 1920 × 1080 in OBS.
Test
Trigger a test alert under Appearance or via Test… in the editor. It only shows for you, not in chat.
Adjust the look
Under Appearance set position, duration and volume; under Sounds add your own.

Starting screen, break, just chatting – freely designed in the overlay editor.

Create a new overlay
Under Overlays create a new custom overlay – the editor opens.
Start from a template
On the left under Templates you’ll find ready scenes like “Starting soon”, “Short break” or “Stream ending”.
Add blocks
Under Add: alert box, chat, goals, ticker, social bar, credits, focus timer and more. Drag, rotate, adjust – all settings are on the right.
Add to OBS
Top right: Add to OBS. Changes in the editor then appear on stream right away.

Live alerts, roles and moderation for your server.

Invite the bot
In the dashboard under Discord click Connect server and pick your server.
Turn on live alerts
Under Announcements turn on the live alert and choose the channel it should appear in.
Prepare roles
If the bot should hand out roles (sub, regular, “is live”), drag its role above those roles in Discord. Otherwise Discord won’t allow it.
Let viewers link up
For stream-based roles your viewers link their Discord once at altiko.de/verknuepfen.

!discord, !social, !uptime – answers the bot gives on every platform.

Open commands
Under Commands you’ll find the built-in commands – change or turn off any of them.
Add a new command
The word without an exclamation mark, plus the reply. Placeholders like {user} insert the name.
Who and how often
A cooldown against spam and the role required – everyone, subscribers or mods.
Test in chat
Save, type the command in chat – done.

Your viewers earn for watching and trade for rewards.

Turn on loyalty
Under Loyalty turn on the points system and name your currency.
Set bonuses
How many points viewers get for watching, following, subscribing and raiding.
Stock the shop
In the Points shop add rewards with a price – redeemed via chat command.
Move over if needed
Import point balances from StreamElements under Loyalty – with a preview before anything is written.

Add your streams, share them as a graphic and get reminded in time.

Add your streams
Under Schedule add streams or import your Twitch schedule.
Share
Save the plan as a graphic or let people subscribe to it as a calendar. !zeitplan names the next stream in chat.
Turn on reminders
Under For you turn on reminders – before every stream and on Sundays with a weekly report.
Choose how
For Discord messages link your Discord at /verknuepfen; for email enter your address and confirm the link.

Mods and editors help in the dashboard – without your password.

Open team
Under Team decide who gets access.
Add a person
Enter the Twitch name and pick the areas: bot, overlays, loyalty, Discord, planning, stats.
Switch
They sign in with their own account and switch to your channel at the top.
Revoke
One click removes the access immediately.

Take your commands, timers, quotes and overlays with you – without rebuilding everything.

Open the import
Start the move under Import from StreamElements.
Connect
Paste your JWT token from StreamElements (Account Settings → Show Secrets). It isn’t stored – best regenerate it afterwards.
Choose
Tick commands, timers, quotes and overlays. Everything arrives switched off – you decide what goes live. Point balances are imported under Loyalty.
Run side by side
Both tools can run side by side for a while. Turn off StreamElements once everything fits.

Work together with to-do lists from chat and a focus timer.

Turn on the feature
Under Chat life turn on “Coworking lists”.
Blocks on the overlay
In the overlay editor add the To-do lists and Focus timer blocks.
Start the timer
!pomo 25 5 4 in chat or in the dashboard under Coworking: 25 minutes focus, 5 break, 4 rounds.
Let people join
Viewers type !todo task and tick it off with !done.

Set logo, colours and font once – overlays, pages and Discord follow.

Upload your logo
Upload your logo under Files, ideally square with a transparent background.
Set your brand
Under Your brand choose logo, main colour, second colour and font – the preview shows the result right away.
Recolour existing overlays
In the overlay editor, with nothing selected, click Apply to all layers on the right.
Decide where
Overlays, public pages and Discord can each be turned off.
